Curious why you are struggling with water retention, nutrient deficits, pests, diseases, weeds and compaction when an old growth forest can grow on its own without human intervention? We can explain, and we can help!
Let’s learn all about the soil food web, and talk about how we can restore it to regenerate our soils and get our growth back on track, without the need for expensive additive amendments.
Join Alter Eco Farms as we dive deep into the microscope to learn about all of the microorganisms that live beyond our vision, in the soil. We will discuss common categories of soil microorganisms, learning about their identification and function. We will learn about how microorganisms naturally create nutrient cycling for plants and the many other benefits the baby microbes provide.
We will look at several samples live under the microscope and compare different samples to help us understand how we restore our own soils. Once we’ve gotten attached to our cute and very helpful microscopic friends, we will talk about what exactly happened to all the microbes and how we can work to get them back and restore the our soils.
